Hello and thank you for visiting my web site!
My purpose as an artist is to create accessible, aesthetically appealing art that celebrates God's creation and the beauty of nature. My influences are rooted in generational folk art and an appreciation of impressionist art, particularly that of Henri Matisse. My creative process tends to be slow and methodical as I enjoy exploring unique ways to incorporate my folk art acumen and love of nature into conceptual pieces.
After a long hiatus I recently began creating again. My past work includes carvings, paintings, drawings and creative writing, most of which has been gifted to family and friends. Creating art gives me a sense of peace that I hope is conveyed to all who view my work.
